The aim of this programme is to give a good understanding of the fundamental elements of economics to assist in deeper learning of the subject as a whole.
Economics is an ever-present element of all our lives and has real and tangible effects on everything we see each day. From jobs, to potholes, through to the prices at tills; economics has wide effects.
We will learn about the core elements that underpin the economic systems, such as GDP, taxation, trade and many more. Both macro and micro economics will be covered as well as a brief explanation of econometric methods.
Throughout the chapters, you will see the core theories and how they are applied in practical contexts. This will develop a working knowledge of the economic fundamentals that are taught within university courses.
